We are now Faces of a Vibrant Economy

A couple of weeks ago, just before we set off to the states, I had an unexpected email come in.

Bertie and I (Samantha) had been selected to be part of Grant Thornton’s Faces of a vibrant economy.

Grant Thornton worked with an independent panel to find inspiring leaders who are driving positive change in the UK. Sacha Romanovitch, CEO  for Grant Thornton UK said “Inspirational leaders are at the heart of any truly vibrant economy…Everyone featured stands out from the crowd for their innovations, social impact and the way they empower people’

Bertie and I were invited down to the launch night last Wednesday to witness the launch and exhibition. The launch night had an exhibition of all the faces included in the list taken by Magnum photos. It was a fantastic night to network with some incredible leaders.

It is so exciting to be part of an esteemed group such as this. The fact that we were selected from hundreds of potential companies is something we are very proud of and we cannot wait to continue our work evangelising virtual reality and doing our part to build up the UK VR industry.

We are incredibly honoured to be a part of the list that makes up all the Faces of a Vibrant Economy, there are some truly inspiring names on the list. I know that I will be wearing my ‘Faces of…’ pin every day.

It was great to meet members of Grand Thornton at the event from all different areas of the business and how supportive and excited they were to meet us and talk about Virtual Umbrella, before the launch we didn’t know too much about Grant Thornton so it was the perfect opportunity to find out more.
