Virtual Umbrella was approached by Polar Black Events on behalf of a national law firm to create a VR activation for a 250th celebration event at Somerset House, London. The team asked us to help curate content and provide technical support across the evening.
We had the opportunity to showcase the potential curated content prior to the night – allowing Polar Black Events to see the experiences first-hand and make sure they were correctly suited for their client.
On the night itself, our VR technicians showcased a variety of content on the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift, including experiences like: Box VR, Holodance, The Blu, and Google Earth VR.
In the run up to the event, we also handled the outreach and licensing of all the content. Licensing of content is often an area that is missed, and we believe that it’s really important for all content creators to be paid when their content is being used.
