In 2016, Virtual Umbrella worked alongside not-for-profit organisation, Jisc, to introduce virtual reality to the education sector at the Digifest event in Birmingham.
The Client Director led a section to discuss the benefits, content, and next steps for VR as a tool for learning, and the team took along Merge VR headsets and phones to run live demos of VR content. The overall aim of the event was to encourage conversation about how virtual reality could be used to produce long-term benefits for education.
