Exhibitor Spotlight #4 – Visualise
VR in a Bar draws ever closer and today’s spotlight features Visualise, a London based VR production studio. The story of how Visualise came to be is a pretty interesting one. But I’ll let Abby from Visualise tell you about it.
Visualise: I’ll start by giving you a bit of background behind Visualise and how we came to be who we are today.
We were founded off the back of a brief for the Olympic 2012 games where we shot each event in 360 degrees. Since then the growing taste for VR has allowed us to work with some great brands from Audi, BBC, Thomas cook, Mercedes, Sony Music and many more.
Over the last year we have been working with Samsung and Oculus on content for the prototype of the Gear VR and have had numerous industry firsts in VR, for our clients. Web versions of our content have had nearly 30,000,000 views in 2014 alone.
We are a team that specializes in VR, and purely VR. Producing experiences that are not only comfortable for the user, yet will achieve them a sense of presence and to ‘be lost’ in the content.
We have speedily worked our magic through an eclectic mix of industries from fashion and travel through to automotive and music creating bespoke industry specific content for each with a track record in delivering successful projects.
A great example of some of our new work came from working with Refinery 29 a fashion and lifestyle blog – where we style stalked 3 style icons around Tulum, Berlin and New Orleans. The user is taken on a journey into iconic landmarks, one of a kind boutiques and nightlife locations in a fly on the wall virtual reality perspective.
Those lucky ones attending Virtual Umbrella’s VR in a Bar will get to see for themselves how incredible this experience really is – and how using VR in a narrative style creates an even more immersive experience for the user.
The world of Virtual reality is really taking off – and it is an incredibly exciting industry to be involved in. Visualise have rapidly grown as a company producing every project in house from conception all the way through to delivery.
We will continue to open our doors to creativity and as the world of technology grows so shall we.
